Sioux Chief's new Commercial Chase Bracket is designed to support copper water headers ranging up to 3" diameter for chase wall applications. The heavy-duty 16 gauge copper plated steel Chase Bracket is ideal for pre-fab installations. Fasten to vent or stack pipe with the included stainless steel band or secure to any flat surface with approved hardware using the two mounting holes at the top of the bracket. Once bracket is installed, spot solder the copper pipe to the bracket making sure heat is applied to the pipe.

NIBCO offers an expanded press-to-connect copper joinery system

NIBCO INC. has introduced its expanded and complete offering of press-to-connect copper fittings, valves and associated tools.  Designed for potable water, mechanical HVAC and process water applications, NIBCO® Press System™ offers an alternative to traditional solder and grooved joinery methods.

The NIBCO Press System consists of ½” through 4” fittings; an industry leading line-up of ½” through 2” gate, globe, check, angle and ball valves with standard valve handle options; and 2½” through 4” butterfly valves.  The system is designed to be joined with NIBCO pressing tools, jaws and chains. This flame-free method requires no flux, solder or other joining material, providing distinct time-saving advantages over soldering or brazing.
